Project 000: MADE Time
For the MADE Time project, also called the 20% Time Project, students were tasked with creating a project to devote 20% of their time to completing. This project was supposed to test our skills as makers, or to give back to the school community.

For my project, I created a planter box out of leftover wood I had at my house. This helped improve my maker skills because I had never built anything out of wood designed to last the elements, and I had the added challenge of only being able to use the Maker tools and recycled materials. I managed to put the box together after about four days of hard work, and I ended up with a product I was proud of. Now, the box lives in my dad's house, and supplies us with salad fixin's when we don't want to go to the store.

Project 001: The Self-Identity Project
For this project, we created a logo that represented some part of us, designed it via Illustrator and then cut it out of linoleum to create a stamp. I chose a stylised interpretation of my initials with a paintbrush to represent my Maker brand.
Project 002: Framed Cells
For this project, we designed picture frames to be hung around the classroom, featuring photos of tools we used to design the picture frames. To do this, we used spare wood in the toolshed, power tools in the Maker Space, and our chosen tool. For my frame, I chose the tool paint, and painted my frame with tiny flowers.

The goal of this project was to show us how to use the tools in the Maker Space.
Project 003: space flight
The goal of this project was to create a fake spaceflight company, complete with fake social media platforms, advertising and mission statement, and eventually build a rocket. Unfortunately, this project never really got off the ground (haha) but you can still find our fake social medias at @seeyou.latr on Instagram and Twitter.
