Jan 17: Figuring Out My Project

For today’s prompt, I met with my internship advisor and brainstormed ideas for my project. The one she thought would be of most benefit to the company would be an updated website. Personally, I thought this was a great idea. I’ve had a passive interest in graphic design for years now, and my fun time wrangling Wix in order to properly display this blog I think counts as experience. For the project, I would be going through the website and updating the content of each page, as well as redesigning some elements if possible to be in a higher resolution. It would also fit in with the time length of my internship, because I can add on to the website in stages. This project would help benefit the organization because a readable website could hook potential clients in and get them to take up business with our firm, instead of some other company.

The current website is live at www.amslawyers.com, and with luck I will be making changes over the course of my internship.
