Jan 25: Project Update

I’ve got some bad news for today’s prompt. Because I’m working so closely with my mentor Mike Aguirre on a major case, I haven’t had the time to sit down and restructure their website, which was my intended project. However, I was thinking about changing my project to the case we’re working on. From how I understand it, the goal of the project is to make something that betters the company in some way, while also teaching you applicable skills. Helping work on this case is of definite benefit to the firm. In addition, I’m helping to do research and am learning the terminology of the law, which is what I came here to learn. I’ll try to hone in more on working with the website in the upcoming week, but if that falls through I’m still doing a lot for the company. Before I make any changes, I’ll discuss this idea with my internship advisor and mentors, and see if it’s a good next step to take. That's all for this week!
